EGU 2008 in Vienna, Austria
9 apr 2008: Like every year, Leosphere will attend the EGU (April 14th to 18th) to introduce the latest features and experiences led with ALS Lidars (Cloud and Aerosol Tropospheric LIDAR systems) and WLS (Wind Lidar Systems) – Booth 9. Our scientists, Laurent Sauvage and Simone Lolli, will present two posters during the event (Monday, 14 April 2008- Poster Area: Halls X/Y): - Assessment of the EZ LIDAR and Micro Pulse Lidar (MPL) performances at ARM Southern Great Plains (SGP) Central Facility for the measurement of clouds and aerosols. - A new method for 2D Air Quality monitoring using lidars inside an underground railways station. Laurent Sauvage will make an oral presentation on: “Windcube lidar compact wind profiler: Overview on 1 year comparison campaigns with calibrated sensors at different locations”. (Monday, 14 April 2008 from 6:45 PM to 7 PM- Lecture Room 16)

EZ Lidar ALS300 in TIGERZ Campaign in India!
8 Apr 2008: The NASA Aerosol Robotic Network (AERONET) will begin a four-year intensive field campaign, called TIGERZ, on April 2008 to measure aerosol microphysical and optical properties over India. Leosphere will take part to the measurement with the 355 nm ground based ALS300 Lidar at Kanpur site.

4 feb 08: Leosphere is glad to announce a new distribution agreement with GWU-Umwelttechnik GmbH in Germany! GWU will represent Leosphere and promote the EZ Lidar system range (ALS300/450 and Windcube WLS7) in the following markets: meteorology agencies and research institutes, atmospheric research institutes, air quality monitoring centers and research institutes, industrial companies for their pollution monitoring needs.
